SKYRIM - Judging you by Leprapotilas SKYRIM - Judging you by Leprapotilas
Well, this is my Skyrim mage ( NPC ) cosplay! I'm quite proud of it, mostly because everything I wore ( apart from my underwear ) was completely made by me. Nobody even helped me, so I pretty much could call this "100% me " cosplay.

It took a while to make this. It wasn't as hard as I thought, but it was a bit tiring since I saw lots and lots of trouble and nobody recognized me. But that's just my own fault, and therefore I can only blame myself.

This picture was taken by my friend :iconmiu-i-n:! I gotta thank her. She took many amazing photos of me and made the anxiousness of not having my usual photographer with me go away! I'm very pleased at the moment.

I wore this cosplay at desucon 2012, Finland! It was amazing. Thank you everyone.

But yes. Costume made by me, pictures of this are courtesy to :iconmiu-i-n: and the character was made by Bethesda!

This costume is so well done!

Did you record any of your process for making the costume? Or would you have any suggestions for those who may attempt it?

Thank you!

Thank you very, very much!

And unfortunately no, I don't keep record of my cosplay progress. So I don't have any pictures or anything :c But in case you want to try making this cosplay, I would suggest that you send me a note concerning the things you need help with! I might be able to help you with them.

I like the slanted angle. It makes a nice , dynamic composition! Btw, great job on the costume. :-)

It really does! I love the angle a lot in general, too, mostly because it makes all poses incredibly dynamic and eye-catching.
But yes, thank you <3

Ahhhh ;v; I thank you very much for your kind comment, I would've probably kissed you if you had come to me at a con and said " AWESOME MAGE COSPLAY! ". But I can only blame myself that nobody recognized me, I like too weird characters <'D

And well, I know the feeling.. but the thing is, you just gotta start off from somewhere and start doing - I have the excactly same feeling with my Tali'Zorah cosplay at the moment, but I just gotta keepd doing it.

Jeee suomalainen Skyrim-cossaaja! 8D

Hei, kysymys! Mistäs on tuo solki tuossa oikealla olkapäällä? Onko itse tehty vai ostettu jostain? (8

Jee, me suomalaiset Skyrimin cossailijat ollaan tosin aika harvassa :c Noin kolme olen nähnyt, itseni mukaanlukien.

Anywoops, kiitos neuvoista!

Great cosplay.

Btw, there should be spears in skyrim, right? If someone could nail the animations an make a mod out of it it would be great. And now that there is mounted combat... :plotting:

Yes, there should! That spear wasn't actually made by me ( whoops, forgot to mention that ), but by my lovely friend :iconk4nspachi: !
Oh? So they have the update for that, too? Thank you for reminding, I'll go and check it out ( I haven't had the time to play it :c )

Yes, it was included free in the last patch. It's really cool, one button makes your char attack to the right of the horse, the other makes him/her attack to the left. Hold either button and release for a power attack. Haven't tried with bow and arrow, only with swords, an there's no option for magic AFAIK.

Unlike many cosplays, it was! I always try to make the cosplay feel comfortable ( after all, I have to wear it for two, maybe three days at its best ) so that I won't cry in agony after the con is over. Plus, I like to be able to move my legs and visit the bathroom u v u''
So instead of thinking it off as a "cosplay" I think it off as "something I'd wear on a normal day if people wouldn't stare at me like creepy old fucks"

I thought so. Could be fun if you made a more everyday version of it to walk around in. I'd wear that. It has a nice design ^-^

I'm actually considering using some parts of that in the winter! Such as the "bracelets" or whatever and the hood part ( after washing them, of course ). So it's not such a weird idea, even, though I won't be having any time to actually make anything new. Onwards to my Mass effect cosplay!
