Personality: 
Harper is your typical older, sassier woman who don't need no man. She's the kind you probably dislike because she just gets on your nerves with her self-confidence and somewhat of a know-it-all-but-totally-not-telling-you attitude. 

Harper has changed a lot over the years, though - a child who used to be a brash little brat with a show-off and bellicose attitude grew to be a lot calmer woman who enjoys following things from the sidelines. She's rather neutral and passive, however, sometimes even to an unneeded level. This whole explosion business is a great way to show it - she's in no rush to save herself or the others. In her honest to god opinion, they're all going to die anyways.

Now Harper is very cynical and tends to use sarcasm as a way to carry conversations, having the tendency to make unneeded snide comments. This is both due to inborn abilities at snide and cynicism, but also due to lessons life has taught her, through both hard and soft hand.

Life lessons have also taught her a lot of other things apart from being an annoying old hag - however, she won't likely to help you with this information. She makes one exception - due to having had a misogynist father, Harper often feels sorry for other women and tends to help them when she feels there is an actual need for it.

History:
Harper was born to a small pokemon breeder family. With a misogynist father and a mother who never really stood up against his husband's snide comments, Harper wanted to show off and do something better than make sure pokemons get healthy babies. As a kid, she swore to become a guard so that she could show his father what's what.

She did, in fact. Harper, when the age came, was dubbed a guard, a job she enjoyed a lot. She had gotten away from a life she so much had disliked. She was living the dream, so to say.

However, you always have to wake up from a dream.

In the end, Harper didn't get to live her dream any longer than for 7 years. During her 7th year at work, Harper got into an accident that burned the left side of her body almost completely. While on a normal patrol, she went to a part of the ship where she wasn't really supposed to, a place full of valves, wires and such.. And she hit a valve. Accidentally. Purely accidentally, of course. 

Boiling hot steam leaves bad scars on skin.

Harper spent next 2 years of her life in the hospital, recovering. Her original spunkiness and aggression vaned after a year of lying in a bed without being able to move. It really did weird things to her mentality, and changed the course of her life 180 degrees, calming her down significantly and making her reconsider her life choices.

After she got out, Harper took an early retire from her original job, unable to even properly use her left hand, and went back to the life she had left many years ago. After having her life turned around, she didn't really know what to do with her life anymore.

That was until a chance presented itself. Harper got the chance, through various means, to get a proper job for herself. A family friend, some calls, new education.. And so Harper, who had already thought she wouldn't get a job better than sweeping floors, landed herself in a job as a pokemon rehabilitator. It wasn't her dream job, but hey, it was better than sitting at home.. or worse, continuing the family's long traditions of pokemon breeding.

Name: Corleone ( usually Leon )
Gender: Male
Species: Combusken
Nature: Bashful
Ability: Blaze
Size: 147 cm ( about to Harper's shoulder )

Attacks:

Personality: Corleone is a rather bashful pokemon who keeps running his mouth especially when it's not really needed. He's up for a fight and often acts tough for the sake of seeming tough, rather than actually being tough. He's somewhat like a typical white trash british boy with his "oi m8 i'll bash your teeth in" type speech. It's very easy to get him to tip over by annoying him.

However, he is even over-protective towards Harper. Harper, who doesn't feel the need to be protected or helped is often annoyed by this, but Corleone feels quilt over Harper's burns and thinks that he needs to help even when there is no apparent need for it. This often leads to the two bickering like an old married couple.

Extras: Harper's first and only pokemon. Harper used to do guard stuff together with Corleone until the accident that led to Harper's injuries that eventually to her quitting her job.
