Personality:History: 
Born in Tusa to two wood elven parents, Ennead grew up on the outskirts of the town with his parents and 2 siblings, Nym and Othel, who were born much after Ennead toward the twilight years of his parents. It was a miracle the two were born.

Though not inherently poor, Ennead grew seeing poverty around him, and his parents worked their asses off selling spices in the market. The eldest of the siblings, Ennead was always the most responsible of the three. He often helped around as a store-hand and a babysitter while his parents were busy with work. 

As his siblings grew, they wanted to study in a school. Unlike them, Ennead was fine living without fine education and had never learned from schools, rather being home-schooled by his parents. However, both Nym and Othel were insistent and were eventually taken to a school while Ennead stayed to help at the store.

Thus they eventually grew apart - Ennead stayed helping his parents while Nym and Othel joined the Military Academy in Tusa. Ennead, who even at the time was strictly against violence, had a massive fight about this decision with Othel, who Ennead felt had made Nym join with him, and the two became estranged, not talking much later on in their lives. Ennead still tried to keep in contact with Nym and persuade her to come back to her family, though with little success.

As Ennead's parents grew older, Ennead begun studying the art of healing to help with their health issues. Sadly, his parents, who had already grown very old, eventually perished despite Ennead's attempts. Ennead, who now had the shop for himself, was rather lost. He had never been one for running a business, mostly doing it to help his parents. 

He eventually found meaning in religion and the goddess Mareus. Water, the sacred life-giver even on the desert, the element of change and survival even in the hardest conditions, helped Ennead carry on. Ennead sold the store and begun studying to become a priest and to further his healer skills. He then spent the money he got from selling the store to buy a small, two-storey building from the midst of the poorer district, setting up a church.. a safe-house, a place for everyone who had no place to go and no-one to help. 

When the war and rebelling begun, Ennead did the best he could to help those in need. He took in all those who needed it, helping however he could as Tusa's Scrying Tower fell, sheltering people on the Day of Fire and eventually as riots broke out. He had not had much contact with his siblings, but one day was greeted by his younger brother, Othel. He came to Ennead bearing bad news, telling that Nym had secretly joined the rebels and had, unfortunately, been killed during the Tusar prison tower siege.

Ennead was furious and struck by grief. He threw his brother out of his church, something he had never done before, telling him to never come back. Now, he is trying to keep living even though there is a war going on, but is still grieving and in a way, afraid.. Afraid that the war, the rebels, the yazgur, the consequences, will arrive to his doorstep, demanding him to choose a side. 


CURRENT EVENTS

After the war begun, Ennead has been trying to keep a low profile, helping anyone who needs it regardless of their side. He was happy when the new yazgur came to power, though this was overshadowed by one of the children he had raised dying in the chaos leading to the new era , in addition to Ennead losing his sister... it was truly a dark time.

But even darker clouds brew behind the horizon. One of Ennead's orphaned children, Efraim Srori, was deeply traumatised by his adopted sibling's death, and eventually committed a murder, killing one of soldiers responsible for her death. Ennead was enraged, but out of love and against all his ideals, instead told Efraim to leave Tusa.

After that, Ennead has been clueless as to what to do. Gods and creatures of unknown awoken, Ennead has been both fearful and protective of those he loves, and while what Efraim did is unforgivable, he still misses his adoptive son.. And now that world is ending, big things have begun to seem small. Thus, Ennead decided to try and find Efraim and bring him home, no matter what. It was finally the time to act.



Additional info:

• Ennead is still quite weak at magic, but pays no mind to it. He can heal well enough to be useful and that is enough thus far. He can also make a shield, something he determinately taught himself to do in order to protect himself and others around him.
• He owns chickens. Yes, you heard that right. Ennead adores chickens and even has a prize-winner hen called Olive. Altogether, he has 5 chickens and one rooster.
• Chickens: Olive, Spice, Marmelade, Annie and Daisy
• Rooster: Issala
• Children often run around him, jump up and down and sometimes climb on his back, but Ennead seems, miraculously, able to function even with 4 children hanging from his legs, arms and back.
• His safe house (which is officially a church ) is a neutral place for anyone needing help. Birthing women, homeless, orphans, hurt soldiers and rebels, and those in need of general medical assistance all find safety in his household. 
• 7 children of varying ages and races live permanently in the safe house. One of the older children is his assistant. Ennead teaches all the children to revere Mareus, though doesn't outright force his views on them.
• The safe house is a 2-storey building at the outskirts of Tusa that often smells of incense and is full of plants. It's kinda messy with so much going on. 
• Enjoys tea. 
• His patience is never-ending. However, it usually runs thin when the talk is about politics. 
• Rousing violence and political extremes around him will summon his rarely seen temper. 
• He thinks his brother to be selfish and has hard time forgiving him.  

RP Preference: I prefer skype and notes and chat (esp. during events!). However I'm often quite busy, so I might not be able to RP super often..!
